Back to the old black, white and gray.
To address the inevitable question: Yes, this strip was shown to my wife before publication.
So, did I cheat when drawing the rack in question?
If by "cheating" you mean that I went into a 3D modelling application, built the darned thing from scratch, rendered it and then traced the contours... then yes, sir. I know what I did. I know why I did it. I'm not ashamed of it.
I ended up doing the shadows by hand, though.
