Over the course of the first week of THIS IS ME, I was checking my e-mail hourly. Would somebody notice? Would somebody write in? Please?
Eventually, the reader mail started to trickle in. But doing this strip often still feels like working in a vacuum.
Geez Louise, I've written and drawn fifty "This Is Me" strips already!
This would feel so much more like a real accomplishment if Bill Barnes had not announced in September that he has hit the 2000 strips mark.
Not much has changed since Strip 25: I still have no roadmap. I have two sketchbooks full of strip ideas, though, and I have started to make preliminary sketches of new characters. Currently, I am drawing cats.
