Following Friday's theme.
This strip started out with a much more succint punchline: the South Park kid merely asked "What?" Turns out that "what" is too ambivalent as a punch line (according to the real-life inspiration for Andrew), so I became more explicit.
Drawing South Park's Stan was anything but easy. I could just have traced him, but I quickly realized that I had to somehow integrate him into the strip. This meant giving him a three-dimensionality which the South Park characters usually lack, but not adding too much so he would remain recognizable.
The rest of the strip was fairly straight-forward. Hopefully, "lil' Me" will not reappear.
