Have you ever had one of those days where some ultimately minor thing annoys you to the point where you toy with the thought of ending your life just to have closure?
Yeah, me neither.
The cute little bird was requested by a reader. Well, it was more a demand than an request. She's German, you know. (ducking)
When I did the first panel, I thought: "Let's draw bricks on the wall." Two panels later, I deeply regretted that decision. By the last panel, I had finally figured out the way to draw these with an acceptable amount of effort.
Should you see a nice brick wall in a future strip, you will know that I decided to reuse the technique I developed while drawing this one.
Long hair is still giving me problems, as you can plainly see.
