Everything that's published on some kind of schedule experiences the same thing. Sooner or later, somebody will utter the immortal words:
"It used to be better."
That's usually a lie.
But then again, I just cancelled two subscriptions. When I was prompted for a reason, all I could give was: 'Your magazine used to be better.' Sigh.
This is one of the rare instances where I had actually drawn several sketches beforehand.
Not because it was extremely hard to get right (it wasn't that easy, either), but because it was a lot of fun to do.
