If you don't remember the effects of Mate (and I couldn't blame you): It's a highly-coffeinated preparation of leaves popular in Latin America.
I don't drink coffee, so that's one of the few methods I have to get awake, quick. The risk is drinking too much, too quick.
Mate Amargo and its effects have been mentioned before.
During the making of this strip, I found out two things.
I enjoy drawing roosters. It's a funny animal.
I still don't have a tried and true method on how to draw the wife.
