On the left: My "dad" explaining ortographical subtelities to the as-yet-unnamed Jeff Spicoli clone. This is a sketch for strip #100, the bluff ending.
On the right: The "me" monster as originally designed. I ended up with a design looking considerably less like Godzilla.
Both sketches come from my least favorite sketchbook. It was simply too small to draw comfortably and I'm glad it's full and done with.
The green pieces of paper indicate the position of strip ideas. When a strip idea is used, I remove the paper slip. It seemed like a good idea at the time.
