This discussion actually took place much in the manner described here.
Needless to say, I hadn't quite anticipated that kind of reaction. I was especially impressed how effortlessly Andrew was able to wield the word "sitcom" as an insult. To him, people who watch "Friends" are probably the Scum Of The Earth.
I'm not really sure whether the frontispiece image really works anymore. The sketch had Andrew holding a megaphone, most of which is unfortunately cropped off in the finished version.
My excursion into the possibilities provided by to-step shading continues.
