The text above really states everything there is to say about this drawing. The revelation as to who holds the remote in this household should come as no surprise to regular readers.
Months later, parts of the living room still look more or less as depicted here.
The Big Idea was to draw my wife and myself in a style somewhere between the strip and reality. This initially resulted in a monstrous hybrid (not shown because of awfulness). Pressed for time, I ended up moving further and further in the direction of the strip's style.
The slippers are born of fantasy. The tracksuit pants... let's say that I don't tend to wear them when people can see me.
