This is the time to point out that this comic often strays from the truth, sometimes far from it. While it's true Mr. Stuart Immonen indeed paid a compliment to the strip's writer and drawerer, this happened via e-mail, not in person.
He never clarified whether he meant it or not. For the sake of my craneum, I will assume that he was being kind.
Many thanks to the always gracious Mr. Immonen for his willingness to let me slander him in my strip.
