Continuing where the previous strip left off. Seconds later, practically.
Beansprout was introduced here. He later resurfaced here.
Evolving Beansprout was a fun challenge. The first sketches went far beyond what's shown here, to the point of becoming unrecognizable.
Eventually I reached a balance where he could still be recognized as ol' Beansprout with a bit of good will.
Then, I added a word balloon to the second panel, just to make sure.
Finally, I decided to have "Me" hold up an image of the original Beansprout in the title panel.
That's me: Mr. Self-Confidence.
