Continuing the introduction of my parents to the strip.
After reading the first part, a friend asked me: "So this is why you told me months ago that your mother whould hopefully never see this?"
It's been a curious experience to transform my parents into comic strip characters. The main challenge was to make them look like my cartoon self.
So whereas in the real world I physically resemble my parents, in the comic my parents had to resemble me. Upside-down genealogy is weird.
The next time I design a cartoon self and its relatives, I'm going to start with my great-grandparents and work my way down from there.
Please, dear reader, let me know whether you like THIS IS ME. Criticism is also appreciated. It's feedback keeps me going. Feel free to e-mail me at <me AT thisisme-comic DOT com> (please replace AT and DOT with the corresponding characters, sorry about that hurdle).
