It's fun to play with sitcom conventions all the while perpetuating a sitcom cliché, such as the dream of a life under different conditions.

The dream sequence finally comes to an end and I can go back to black and white (and two shades of gray). Next time I do color, I will certainly not try to go overboard again.
There's an "easter egg" of sorts in the first panel. I wonder which eagle-eyed reader will catch it first.
