This strip is pure wish-fulfillment. In real life, the kids would have pulled out a can of mace, brass knuckles and a baseball bat.
(Ah yes. The eyebrows.)
The original sketch dates back two years. It's very crude, without even a guide as to the pacing and none of the insults spelled out. Basically, it only delivers the punch line.
My favorite thing about the finished strip is the boy in the skull t-shirt getting on his toes to deliver his insult.
